Today, we want to take a look at the upcoming season for the Lady Mustangs Lacrosse team

Head Coach:  Joe Bluemel

2018 Record:  13-6.  Finished 3rd overall in conference and made it to the “Sweet 16” in the playoffs.

2019 Expectations: With a talented senior heavy group as well as a very deep and athletic junior squad, The Lady Mustangs return 20 “letter winners” from last year squad as they look to compete for a conference championship and advance further in the state tournament.  The Lady Mustangs feature 10 Multi-sport athletes which helps build a solid foundation for the season

Players to Watch:  Seniors:  Elise Hokr, Morgan Arnholt and Vera Maglakelidze

Juniors:  Abby Katrinak, Lauren Searles, Krysten Kasler, Veronica Palmer and Jamie Melland

Sophomore: GK Serena Rijos

When asked about this year’s team, Head Coach Joe Bluemel said, “I’m most excited to see if we can bond as a team and get past the “Sweet 16″.  Our team peaked at the right time last year and I am very hopeful that we will continue that trend this year”.

The Lady Mustangs open the season March 21 at home against Bay High School.
