The Lady Mustangs remained atop the GCC standings on Wednesday night when they overwhelmed the Euclid Panthers. The Lady Mustangs got off to a fast start with their pressuring defense which created many turnovers and easy transition baskets for the Mustangs. The Lady Mustangs led at halftime, 45-17 and never looked back in route to their 81-41 victory. The Mustangs were led in scoring by Reagan Bass who had 22. Mackenzie Schulz added 14 while Taylor Bass chipped in with 13. Everyone made it into the scorebooks for the Lady Mustangs which is always a good thing. The win improves the #14 ranked Mustangs to 7-5 on the year and 6-1 in GCC play. The Lady Mustangs are now tied atop the GCC standings with 1-loss. The Lady Mustangs are back in action Saturday when they travel to Brunswick for an always tough road test. Brunswick will be coming off an impressive win against Medina at home last night.
