GIRLS SOCCER WINS GCC CHAMPIONSHIP

For the second straight year, The Lady Mustangs traveled to Medina and secured the GCC championship.  Last night, the Girls defeated Medina 2-0 to win their 6th straight GCC title.  The Lady Mustangs had goals by Sidloski and Sallee, but it was a total team effort.  The Lady Mustangs will be back in action Saturday

OHSAA FALL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

On Sunday, the OHSAA held its seed meetings for Volleyball as well as Boys and Girls Soccer.  In Girls Soccer, the Lady Mustangs obtained the overall #1 seed in the Northeast district.  The Lady Mustangs will play on 10/22 against the winner of Parma and Valley Forge. Strongsville Girls Cross Country: Julia Isham Wins Medina Invitational

Congratulations to the Girls Cross Country team for another solid effort at the Medina Invitational. Sophomore, Julia Isham, was the overall winner of the meet with a new season best time of 18:44. Joining her in recording a new career best was Junior, Sydney Wingler, with a time of 20:03 for a 20th place finish.

BOYS AND GIRLS GOLF TEAMS ADVANCE TO DISTRICTS

BOYS GOLF ADVANCES TO DISTRICT TOURNAMENT On Monday, the Boy’s Varsity Golf team competed in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament at Sweetbriar Golf Club where they played the Legacy course.  The Boys team wrapped up 3rd place in the sectional which automatically qualifies them as a team for the district tournament next Monday at Pine Hills.
