Strongsville lacrosse became a Varsity sport in 2015. The pre-game ceromony recognized Ryan Keating, Jake Selong, and Jake Fatula as the first class of graduating Seniors to have been part of the varsity lacrosse program since its inception.
The first half was a back and forth battle that sent both teams to the locker room knotted up 4-4. Midway through the 3rd quarter the Pacers found the back of the net 4 times in a span of 4 minutes. Strongsville took a timeout to make adjustments and from that point in the game the Mustangs traded goals with the Pacers. It was that 4 minute run of 4 goals that proved to be too much for Strongsville to overcome. Strongsville (6-11) lost to Delaware Hayes (11-6) at home in the final regular season game of the 2018 season.
Next up is the first round of the OHSAA playoffs – Strongsville will face Olentangy Lewis Center on Tuesday May 15th.
