The Strongsville Girls Tennis Team tied the school record for wins in a season with a 4-1 victory at Copley Monday afternoon. The Mustangs finished with a 13-6 record, the same record held by the 2015 tennis team. In the match against Copley, the first doubles team of Brooke Brengartner and Manaar Muhammad got the Mustangs on the board first, followed by Miranda Lee and Paige Gesler at second doubles. Amelia Matousek’s second singles victory sealed the win for Strongsville and Raina Sinha added a win at third singles. At first singles Bhavya Anoop battled with her opponent but fell in three sets after splitting the first two all in tiebreaks. The Mustangs finish their season with a 13-6 (2-3 GCC) record, finishing tied second at the GCC Tournament and third place in the GCC overall.
